I take it you meant above to be a multiplication, so then,
[tex]\bf 5\times \cfrac{3}{4}\implies \cfrac{5}{1}\cdot \cfrac{3}{4}\implies \cfrac{5\cdot 3}{1\cdot 4}\implies \cfrac{15}{4}\implies 3\frac{3}{4}[/tex]
