To solve this, you have to know the formula for the area of a trapezoid:
[tex]( \frac{( b_{1} + b_{2} )}{2} ) * h[/tex]
In this question:
base 1 = 25
base 2 = 35
height = 12
[tex]( \frac{25+35}{2}) * 12 = 30 * 12 = 360[/tex]
